These CPS records show elementary class sizes for the school year now ending, as of the 20th attendance day. The BGA analyzed the numbers, focusing on kindergarten through eighth grade at non-charter schools. Pre-school and special education classes — reflected in some of the very low numbers in the data — were not included in the BGA analysis.
NOTE: Some principals were able to lower class sizes later in the year by hiring additional teachers.
