Alice began her fundraising career in higher education. She worked for Rice, Tulane, and Boston College before moving to Chicago to work for the University of Chicago. After nine years at U of C, she served as Vice President of Development at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Art Institute of Chicago, and the Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo. For the past fifteen years she has held numerous interim fundraising leadership positions at the University of Chicago, After School Matters, the Chicago Humanities Festival, Merit School of Music, Chicago Opera Theater, University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation, among others.
