With Springfield still working under a cloud of scandal and federal investigations, the inspector general who lawmakers put in charge of rooting out corruption in the General Assembly resigned, saying her office is little more than a “paper tiger.” David Greising will discuss the impact of Pope’s resignation, and possibly what officials are saying about the resignation in light of all the ethics “overhaul” and BGA’s stance on what was passed.
